A very good afternoon, and I warmly welcome all of you and extend my sincere appreciation for your kind attendance today at the Foodicious Food & Beverage Expo 2023 in this beautiful city of Kuala Lumpur!
Firstly, let me introduce myself and my company. I’m Aleex Quah, the CEO of Foodicious Sdn Bhd, the company that organised Foodicious Food & Beverage Expo 2023, a platform to promote the F&B industry. Foodicious Food & Beverage Expo started in 2016 as TLM Food & Beverage Expo in the northern state touted by many as the Culinary Capital of Malaysia—PENANG. We never imagined the expo would become today's leading F&B expo in the northern region but after years of hard work and determination, we grew from a small company to a major player in the industry, having traded over RM10 million in past events and gathered more than 300 brands under one roof.
Never one to rest on our laurels, Foodicious Food & Beverage Expo continues to think outside the box to stay ahead of the curve. That is why we are here today, bringing our unique skills, perspectives, and resources gained from our homeground Penang to promote local and international F&B industry players in Kuala Lumpur. For our first venture into the KL market, we are bringing in 200 F&B vendors ranging from manufacturing, distributor, processing and many more. Foodicious Food & Beverage Expo is the perfect place to discover new culinary trends and innovative products from all over Malaysia and beyond. Our exhibitors are excited to share their products and expertise with you, and visitors can take this opportunity to taste new foods and beverages, and ask questions about their ingredients and preparation, learn new skills and techniques, get hands-on experience with new products, and many more.
To keep the expo at Pavilion Bukit Jalil fresh and exciting, we are bringing the Coffee and Dessert Festival (CDF), a key product under Foodicious Sdn Bhd. CDF is designed distinctively to celebrate the blossoming of vast varieties of exotic coffee in addition to enhancing and encouraging the development of the coffee and dessert industry. So, whether you’re a coffee lover, a sweet tooth person or someone wanting to find out what’s “brewing and baking” in the industry, be sure to check out the CDF.
At the Foodicious Food & Beverage Expo, we believe in the power of collaboration and synergy.
