HobbyCon combines the best of pop culture from East and West, uniting the world of comics, anime, Japanese manga, toys and figurines as well as collectibles and games. The objective of this event is to gather hobbyists from around the region and act as a platform for young people to showcase their talent, passion and most importantly to share and spread their hobbies.
- DO ask for permission before taking a cosplayer's photo.
- DO keep your personal belongings safe with you at all times. Beware of pick pockets!
- DO carry a repair kit. For cosplayers, you're going to need it.
- DO stay hydrated, take lots of photos and HAVE FUN!
- DON'T touch the cosplayer or anyone without their consent. Same goes to their props. But especially the cosplayers.
- DON'T just stop for photos anywhere and block a vital central walkway to do it. Find somewhere that's a little lighter on foot traffic.
- DON'T be judgmental, especially about other cosplayers.
- DON'T litter! Let's keep Hobbycon event clean.
