About Melaka International Trade Centre
Introduction
Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC) was officially launched in June 2003 by YB Senator Tan Sri Hj. Mohd Ali Bin Mohd. Rustam, the former Chief Minister of Melaka. Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC), the most superior international trade centre and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) centre has played a vital role in generating the trade development and achieving the vision of Melaka Maju 2010. With the existence and expansion of the MICE industry, we believe Melaka community may gain the benefit and high acknowledgement with the function produced from MITC.
The formation of MITC in the heart of Ayer Keroh Satellite Town by the state government of Melaka is to serve as a one-stop centre Trade and Service Centre. It is the latest township development where is it strategically situated and accessible from other towns, cities and states in Malaysia via the North-South Expressway.

Synopsis of MITC
MITC is the host for many leading conventions, trade shows, exhibitions and special events. MITC plays a vital and essential role in generating the commercial trade development as well as contributing to the achieving the vision of Melaka Maju 2010. The expansion of the MICE industry and the presence of MITC, we believe that the community will be able to benefit and earn recognition from the unrivalled level of services provided by MITC.
MITC was constructed on a 3.1 acre land with built up area of 13,090 square metres of meeting and exhibition space. The superb amenities available comprises of the followings :-
i. 6 Meeting Rooms
ii. An Auditorium that can accomodate up to 272 guests
iii. A Grand Ballroom witha serving area accommodating from 750 to 1,200 guests
iv. 3 Exhibition Halls which measures from 3,973.75 to 4,768.50 square metres which can be opened up to provide a bigger area totalling 13,090.00 square metres.
Other facilities available at MITC also includes a Business Centre, Cafe, food and beverage kiosks, a lobby and a large area accommodating 230 car park spaces.
